Barbara studied esoteric healing at the Institute for Bioenergy Studies with Dr. Barbara Briner, D.O. This type of complimentary energy work assists in the balance and flow of the energy field that surrounds and permeates all living beings. The knowledge of such a field and its use in the treatment of disease has been around for thousands of years, with origins in Egypt, India, and China. The word “esoteric” means “hidden” or “further within”.  Likewise, esoteric healing works beyond the physical body, affecting all levels of a person’s being, including their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual state. Alterations in a person’s energy field are identified and specifically addressed using various balancing techniques. After a healing session, clients will feel more relaxed, rejuvenated, and grounded, with a more flowing, healthy, and harmonious energy field.

“Healing does not come through intense affirmation of divinity, or by simply pouring out love and the expression of a vague mysticism. It comes through mastering an exact science of contact, impression, of invocation plus an understanding of the subtle apparatus of the etheric vehicle.” — Alice Bailey, author of “Esoteric Healing”

Brain Therapy

Brain therapy is a manual therapy developed by Dr. Bruno Chikly M.D., which directly addresses specific structures and physiology of the brain and spinal cord, rather than cranial bones and membranes. The body often aligns itself around a specific brain structure and primary tissue restrictions may occur leading to dysfunctions that can affect the whole body. A very light and extremely specific hands-on touch is utilized to assess and release these restrictions. Brain therapy may be used to help any brain or spinal-related pathology, including closed head injuries, whiplash, headaches, cranial nerve dysfunction, dyslexia, cerebral palsy, cognitive behavioral dysfunctions, learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, post-polio syndromes, and many other conditions.

“I know that the normal brain lives, thinks, and moves within its own specific membranous articular mechanism.” — Sutherland WG, author of “The Cranial Bowl”

Natural Health Education

Using an integration of standard medical approaches and natural health practices, clients are provided with information to promote healthy lifestyle changes and illness prevention. The primary goal of this type of education is to empower clients to take responsibility for their own well-being and encourage them to adopt a more proactive approach to healthcare.
